Swamp Gravy, the Official Folklife Play of Georgia, delivers their unique style of community theater to ABAC’s Georgia Museum of Agriculture, bringing traditional storytelling to life, blending comedy, drama, and music to share wildly entertaining stories about family, community, life and death of southern life. Set among the picturesque backdrop of the Museum’s 1870’s – 1910 era Historic Village, participants will be led on a walking tour, stopping at various sites to see a cast of over 20 storytellers.
This program is supported in part by Georgia Council for the Arts through the appropriations of the Georgia General Assembly. Georgia Council for the Arts also receives support from its partner agency - the National Endowment for the Arts. This project is supported in part by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts. To find out more about how NEA grants impact individuals and communities, visit www.arts.gov.
