Support our efforts to educate and promote Georgia’s rich connections to the past, present, and future of agriculture. Whether you want to share your time as a volunteer or provide financial support, we welcome your involvement at ABAC’s Georgia Museum of Agriculture.
DonateThe generosity and patronage of museum members and supporters is essential to our success and future. We couldn’t do it without you! By becoming a Friend of the GMA, you become a partner with us in educating and promoting Georgia’s rich connections to the past, present and future of agriculture.
Visit all year long and reap the rewards of the annual pass! This pass includes unlimited day time admission, 15% off at the Country Store, free rides on the Vulcan Steam Train, and fishing privileges at Agrirama Lake. This is an ideal option for Tifton locals or frequent visitors!
Help pass it along to the next generation! Camp Wiregrass provides a fun, interactive environment for children to engage in hands-on activities, games, and crafts as they learn about Georgia’s rich history, agriculture and natural resources. Each camp offer unique activities and themed tailored to each age group.
Your adoption of a GMA animal supports the daily care, veterinary visits, feeding and other needs of these residents. Each adoption gift directly supports the care and feeding of our animals and provides a variety of special benefits only adoptive supporters can enjoy.
All animal adoptions are good for one year and are renewable. All adopted animals remain in the care and custody of the GMA. Occasionally, the GMA may have to remove an animal from public display due to unforeseen circumstances. If your adopted animal leaves the GMA, passes away, or is moved off exhibit, your gift will still be used and appreciated by our many other GMA animals for the remainder of your adoption year.
The Perfect Gift
Adopt an Animal packages make unique gifts for birthdays, graduations, holidays, anniversaries and other special occasions! Adopting an animal even makes the perfect gift for the person in your life that has everything!
We couldn’t do what we do without our wonderful volunteers! Over 100 individuals volunteer thousands of hours every year as costumed interpreters, greeters, fundraising ambassadors, office assistants, skilled craftspeople, folk artists, and more. Your talents and enthusiasm help make the GMA a memorable experience for all of our guests.

This volunteer program is open to young adults between the ages of 13 and 17. The program is designed to offer youth an opportunity to learn about the past, gain hands-on experience for the professional work environment, and prepare them to take an active role in volunteering. Along the way apprentices make new friends, discover new skills, and have countless fun memories. We aim to make great young people even better through the GMA’s unique and enriching cultural environment.
To be selected as a youth volunteer, individuals must submit a registration form and meet with GMA staff. The registration deadline is May 24, 2024. Contact Chloe Holbrook for more information at cholbrook@abac.edu or (229) 391-5213.
