Munchkins (5-6 year olds)

June 3 – June 6: Little Travelers

Calling all munchkins! At Little Travelers Camp, children ages 5-6 will embark on an exciting journey through the world of transportation. From airplanes, trains, carriages, and bicycles, campers will discover how we move through the air, on land, and beyond!  Your little traveler will play with simple machines and craft animals, planes, trains and more during this week’s camp!

July 8 – July 11: Wild & Wonderous Woods

Step into the great outdoors at Wild & Wondrous Woods Camp, where munchkin campers will discover the magic of camping! From pitching pretend tents and hiking through nature trails to roasting s’mores, your little adventurer will experience the wonder of the wilderness. Get ready for a week filled with giggles, creativity, and unforgettable outdoor adventures!

July 15 – July 18: Animal Antics

Jump into the animal world with Camp Wiregrass’s Animal Antics! Campers will discover what animals need to survive by caring for their own pet (don’t worry, it’s pretend) and explore the different kinds of animals living close to their own backyard! Cane pole fishing, milking ‘Buttercup,’ the fiberglass milking cow, and meeting the Museum’s livestock and nature center animals are just a few of the fun, hands-on activities planned throughout the week.

Explorers (7-9 year olds)

June 9 – June 13: EcoDetectives

Solve the mysteries of our local natural world! Every day will bring new clues and ‘whodunnits’ for our junior detectives. Adventures include collecting invertebrates from the local stream, identifying animal signs, exploring various habitats, and cane pole fishing. Join us for a fantastic journey filled with fun and discovery!

June 23 – June 27: Digging Up the Past

Ready to get your hands dirty? At Digging Up the Past Camp, kids ages 7-9 will become junior archaeologists as they uncover the secrets of ancient civilizations. Through hands-on activities like mock digs, artifact analysis, and creative crafts, campers will learn how we piece together history one discovery at a time. They’ll explore how tools, pottery, and fossils tell stories about the past, and even create their own “artifacts” to take home!
