Camp Wiregrass
Each summer, Camp Wiregrass offers week-long day sessions for ages 5-12 to learn more about agriculture, history, natural resources, and STEM through exciting activities and engaging experiences. Camp begins in late May and runs through the mid of July.

Join us on a thrilling journey through Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall at ABAC’s Georgia Museum of Agriculture. Discover the magic of each season and the amazing transformations they bring! Get ready for exciting activities like meeting sheep in Winter and competing in a turkey waddle contest in Fall. Campers will also have a blast creating seasonal crafts, from crafting caterpillars in Spring to making beautiful butterflies in Summer!

Embark on an exciting journey to uncover the importance of Georgia’s agriculture in your daily life! Engage in games, creative crafts, and enjoyable activities to learn firsthand how Georgia farms contribute to our well-being each day. Delve into interactive experiences such as meeting the Museum’s livestock, crafting a ‘garden-in-a-glove,’ milking Buttercup, the fiberglass dairy cow, and making paper!

Ahoy, campers! Get ready to embark on an epic voyage as we set sail for the “High Seas” at Camp Wiregrass! Join one of our fearless pirate crews and get ready to unlock the secrets to hidden treasure. But remember, the key to success is teamwork! As brave Camp Wiregrass Explorers, you’ll be divided into teams to compete in exciting challenges and games to help your “pirate crew” uncover the coveted treasure. Get ready for an unforgettable week filled with excitement and fun!
Exploring Space: June 24-28, 2024

Let’s get ready to blast off into space! National Space Headquarters called to report a problem with our space station, and we need your help. Throughout the week, we will prepare for our mission with a physical training obstacle course, a scavenger hunt for our supplies, and creating our own rocket ship! Once we get to space, we will build a satellite, learn more about our solar system, and enjoy moon walk competitions. Once our mission is complete, we will embark on our journey back home to earth and celebrate completing our mission.

Campers are in for an exciting treat as they dive into a week filled with the most renowned television shows and board games, all with a special focus on STEM careers. It’s a thrilling adventure where campers get to immerse themselves in a variety of games like America Says and LIFE, earn points, and collaborate with their peers. The ultimate goal? To crown the Ultimate Game Show Champions!
